Legacy operational technology — PLCs, SCADA systems, MES platforms — was built for reliability and longevity, not for data accessibility. The equipment on your floor may be running perfectly while being entirely isolated from your ERP, your analytics platform, or any AI initiative you’re trying to build. And unlike most technology decisions, you can’t take a production line offline while you work it out.

That’s not a consulting credential — it’s a decade of understanding what’s actually on the factory floor, how operational technology is designed and maintained, and what it takes to connect it to anything else.

When a vendor proposes connecting your legacy equipment to a cloud analytics platform in three months, I can tell you whether that’s realistic — because I’ve seen both sides of that integration.
